Greensboro, NC-- Sunday, drivers cruising through Greensboro on I40 will need to have patience on board.
Starting at 8:00am, the NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) started closing various lanes on the I-40 off-ramps to Wendover Avenue to install pavement markings.
Crews will close one lane at a time on both off-ramps between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon to paint lane lines and turn arrows.
Triad Road Maintenance Inc. out of Reidsville was the contractor doing the work.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
