Greensboro--We have enjoyed a nice, dry weekend across the Piedmont. As we head into the new week, shower chances will increase.
A low pressure area will move inland from the Virginia coast while a cold front approaches from the west. The two will combine to increase moisture over our area.
There may be a sprinkle later tonight and Monday morning, but most showers will hold off until later Monday into Tuesday as the front moves in.
We will continue to see a few scattered mainly afternoon thunderstorms on Wednesday before dry weather returns for Thursday through Friday and maybe through the holiday weekend.
