Charlotte, NC-- Shoppers will soon notice a few changes at their local grocery stores.
Harris Teeter Supermarkets, Inc. and Lowe's Food Stores, Inc. announced a purchase and sale agreement involving 16 stores June 1.
Harris Teeter will get 10 Lowes Foods locations in the central Carolinas, and Lowes Foods will acquire six Harris Teeter locations in western North Carolina.
The locations include Charlotte, Asheville and parts of northern South Carolina.
