(Greensboro, NC) -- This morning at approximately 3:34, Greensboro police responded to Kangaroo Mart located at 3101 Yanceyville Street in reference to a robbery.
Employees told police that the suspect, described as a black male, 6'0 tall, slim build, having short dreads, wearing a blue tee shirt, khaki shorts, and converse shoes, walked into the store and demanded property. The suspect implied that he was in possession of a handgun.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the store on foot and ran in an eastern direction.
The investigation is ongoing.
