Triad -- If you have Sunday plans, it looks like the weather should cooperate. The nice weather from Saturday will extend into Sunday.
Highs will be in the mid 80s and the humidity will be a tad higher than it was today. Otherwise, it will be a nice June afternoon.
The week ahead may be a different story...
Right now, there is ample moisture along the Gulf coast states. Heavy rain has fallen all day Some places have gotten several inches of rain and many flash flood warnings are in place. That moisture feed is approaching the Carolinas in the next few days.
Monday through Thursday will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms. While it won't be a complete wash-out, there could be showers any time. It may not be a bad idea to have a back-up plan for any outdoor activities.
The good news is that by next weekend, all the rain should be out of here and there will be another dry weekend with highs in the mid 80s.
