Greensboro, NC -- The Triad has enjoyed ample sunshine with seasonably cool temperatures for the last few days and that streak looks to hang on just long enough for Father's Day.
Sunday will start off with a mostly sunny sky and temperatures near 60 degrees. The sunshine will continue into the first part of the afternoon before some high clouds begin to stream in.
A cold front over the Midwest will track to the east which will throw some moisture towards the Triad and cause for the steadily increasing clouds. A southeasterly flow, however, will offset the late building clouds and keep temperatures in the lower 80s through Sunday afternoon.
Father's Day will wrap up under a layer of high clouds throughout the evening as temperatures gradually cool through the 70s. Low temperatures Sunday night will be in the lower 60s.
