(Lexington, NC)  --  The Davidson County Sheriff's Office Vice/Narcotics Unit arrested Douglas Kirk of 601 Burgess Street Lexington, during a drug investigation at 848 Winston Road in Lexington.

During the investigation detectives seized 92 Hydrocodone pills. Kirk was charged with two counts of trafficking opiates and maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance.

Kirk was placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $100,000.00 secured bond and is set to appear in Davidson County District Court on August 28, 2012.
