Gulf of Mexico --  Tropical Storm Debby continues to turn in the Southeast.  As of Monday, most guides show the storm on an Eastward path toward Florida.

The latest National Hurricane Center forecast takes it North into the Florida panhandle, Georgia and Alabama.

This means that if you have family or vacation plans in Florida or the southern parts of Georgia and Alabama, you should keep a close eye on this storm.  It doesn't look like there is much of a chance for strengthening but the longer the storm sits over water, the more time there is for strengthening.  As of now, it seems like there is a low chance of the storm reaching hurricane status.  However, there could be several inches of rain, gusty winds and choppy seas along the coast.

As for the Triad, there shouldn't be much of an  impact.  The cold front pushing through North Carolina should help to shield us from the effects of Debby.

We will continue to watch the storm as we move through the week.
