(Greensboro, NC) - At 6:53 P.M. yesterday, Central Division Officers responded to 905 Reid Street reference to a robbery from person.
When the arrived, the victim, James Barrett stated that three suspects came to his house and started an altercation with him and a house guest. During the altercation one of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded property. After receiving property the three suspects left the scene on foot and split up.
Officers were able to locate the three suspects in the area.
The victim was not injured during the incident.
Arrested were:
1) Timothy Williamson, 43 years old
2) Van Spearman, 40 years old
3) Mykel Simpson, 31 Years old
All three were charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Rob, Assault on a Female, Assault on a Handicapped Person and received a $5000 bond.
The victims' property was recovered.
Central Division Officers and Center City Resource Team Officers attended the scene.
