AURORA, CO -- Details are coming out about how a bomb squad is taking apart the booby trapped apartment of the Colorado theater shooting suspect.
A law enforcement official, citing the ongoing investigation, spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press and says officers disarmed one explosive with a "water shot," a device that emits a shock wave and water,
Police said earlier they had "defeated" another explosive attached to a trip wire but did not say how they did it.
The official said the apartment appears to have three types of explosives: jars filled with accelerants, chemicals that would explode when mixed together and more than 30 "improvised grenades" that resemble commercially available aerial fireworks shells.
Officers are evaluating the second disarmed explosive with a robot-mounted video camera.
AURORA, CO -- Relatives have identified two more victims from the Colorado movie theater shooting.
Six-year-old Veronica Moser was killed, her great-aunt, Annie Dalton, tells The Associated Press.
Another victim is 27-year-old Matt McQuinn, says family attorney Rob Scott from Dayton, Ohio.
Veronica's mother, Ashley Moser, 25, is in critical condition with a bullet in the throat and in the abdomen, says Dalton, who is Ashley's aunt.
And Scott says McQuinn was killed after diving in front of his girlfriend and her older brother to shield them from the gunfire.
Others identified by relatives include John Larimer, 27, of Crystal Lake, Ill., who was stationed with the Navy at Buckley Air Force Base, 23-year-old Micayla Medek, 27-year-old Alex Sullivan and Jessica Ghawi, 24.
NEW YORK -- Warner Bros. Pictures says it has canceled appearances by the cast and filmmakers of the "The Dark Knight Rises" in Mexico and Japan.
The move comes in response to yesterday's shooting rampage that killed 12 people and and wounded 58 others in a Colorado theater during a midnight premiere of the newest Batman movie.
Star Christian Bale says he's horrified by the incident. In a statemen, Bale says he "cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones," but says his "heart goes out to them." Bale plays the caped crusader in the film.
Meanwhile, Sony, Fox, Disney, Universal, Fox and Lionsgate said Saturday that they are joining "Dark Knight Rises" distributor Warner Bros. in withholding their box-office numbers for the weekend.
