Two Arrested For Multiple Drug Charges

(Burlington, NC)  --  On July 27, 2012 at approximately 9:00  hours officers with the Burlington Police Department and the Alamance County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) went to 1312 Rayon Street with arrest warrants for drug related charges for Ephriam A. Alexander Jr. stemming from the an investigation conducted by the ACSO.

A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of evidence consistent with drug sales and distribution including marijuana, cocaine, handguns, a shotgun, an "uzi" style firearm and a ballistic vest.

Arrested were Ephriam A. Alexander Jr. black, male, D.O.B. 04/02/1970 of 1312 Rayon Street, Burlington and Vincent Augustus Phills Jr. black, male, D.O.B. 12/13/1975 also of 1312 Rayon Street, Burlington.

Each suspect was charged with:

1 count- Possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana

1 count- Possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine

1 count- Maintaining a dwelling for the sell on controlled substance

1 count- Manufacturing a controlled substance

Phills was also charged with two outstanding failure to appear warrants.

Ephriam A. Alexander Jr. was placed in the Alamance County Jail in lieu of a $125,000 bond and Vincent A. Phills bond was $127,000.
