Graham, NC-- Deputies in Alamance county said they arrested a woman and charged her after she stabbed her husband.
Around 12:30 Tuesday morning, deputies were dispatched to a house on Tobacco Rd in Snow Camp for a stabbing. Officers found 69 year-old Steven Calvin Holmes with a stab wound in his back.
During their investigation, deputies learned that Holmes and his wife Connie Holmes had gotten into a dispute. Holmes said when he turned away, Conne Holmes stabbed him.
Mrs. Holmes was arrested at the scene and charged with: Assault with a Deadly with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
She was placed in the Alamance County Jail.
