We'll see more scattered showers and thunderstorms, a few storms may be severe for Friday evening. We are tracking a couple lines of showers that have the potential of bringing brief, heavy rain and gusty winds.
Friday overnight into Saturday, we'll have more rain and possible storms as a slow moving cold front moves east across the Triad. As the front approaches, this system could produce heavy rain and damaging winds.
The rain won't last the entire weekend. Everything starts to dry out as the cold front moves east on Sunday. High temperatures both Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid-upper 80s.
