High Point, NC -- Thousands of people attended the Romney-Ryan campaign event in High Point Sunday, even some who aren't old enough to vote.
"I was about maybe... 50 feet away from him," explained 9-year-old Kaley Waldon.
She begged her Grandpa to take her to High Point to see the man she believes "could change America."
Unfortunately, the soon-to-be 4th grader had to leave before Governor Romney took the stage.
"Because it was just so hot in there we couldn't stand it anymore. I just got really dehydrated."
"The paramedics came up to her and gave her water and took her blood pressure and all those sorts of things," explained her Grandfather.
After getting cooled off, she wanted to go back inside, "because I wanted to get pictures of Mitt," said Kaley.
Kaley never saw the man she's on a first name basis with again but instead, "the Secret Service guy gave me the pin and its Romney's Secret Service and I'm like well that's just pretty cool!"
Kaley says if she was able to meet Governor Romney she would have told him he had her vote, if only she were nine years older.
