High Point, NC -- They are bitter crosstown rivals, who share one stadium. And in High Point, there's one type of food that helps fuel the battle.

Nothing goes better with Friday night football than wings.

H.P. Andrews at H.P. Central is the News 2 game of the week Friday night. And as the battle for High Point wages on, there's a Friday night wing spot to fuel the Andrews crowd.

East Coast Wings on North Main Street in High Point is a local favorite before and after the game.

The restaurant is cranking out wings for the football players and the fans.

"On any given Friday night, we sell about 3,500 to 4,000 wings," said the restaurant manager, Derrick Fischer.

Fischer said the best-sellers are mild honey barbecue wings, Bourbon Street wings, and the flavor of the month. This month it's Santa Fe wings.

But there's a crowd please that sells even faster than the wings.

"Our homemade chips," said Fischer.

East Coast Wings is the spot for Friday night bites in High Point.

H.P. Andrews at H.P. Central kicks off at 7:30pm Friday at Simeon Stadium.
