Greensboro, NC -- We're keeping an eye on flooding in Greensboro this morning.
Several city streets and roadways are shut down because of flooding. Latham Rd. near Wendover Ave. is one of the usual suspects during heavy rain.
And this morning, Greensboro police blocked it off, along with the intersections of Beckford Dr. and Fairfax Rd., and Madison Ave. and N. Holden Rd.
Greensboro police say they had to rescue a man from his car downtown this morning near the jail.
And, flooding wasn't the only problem. A tree fell on a home on Colonial Ave. as well.
Highway 29 near Textile Dr. is back open after flooding.
And always remember to avoid driving on flooded streets.
