Winston-Salem, NC -- Tonight's storms brought a lot of rain to the Triad and caused minor flooding near downtown Winston-Salem.

Winston-Salem police confirmed a car was stuck in a flooded area at the Thurmond St. and W. Northwest Blvd. intersection.

The department requested a rescue boat from the Lewisville fire department to help get the car out of the water.

No injuries have been reported at this time, and police have cleared the scene.
