Bob, one of our fine employees at WFMY, set up an an adventure of a lifetime and was kind enough to snap incredible video and photos.

Here is a synopsis of the trip:

We did almost 2000 miles in 9 days in Wyoming, eastern Idaho and south central Montana... all on Harley-Davidsons. It was in the 20s or 30s in the mornings and in the 60s and 70s during the day.

Everything was so green when we arrived, but at the end of the trip, the leaves began a rapid change to gold and red. We traveled from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to West Yellowstone, Idaho.

From there, through the northern tier of Yellowstone National Park, then along the Beartooth Highway at almost 11,000 feet to Red Lodge, Montana. Down through the Bighorn Mountain range to Buffalo, Wyoming and on to Thermopolis through the Wind River Canyon and to Shoshoni, then back to Cody Wyoming - the town founded by Buffalo Bill.

From there it was back to Yellowstone, Old Faithful, the steaming streams of the caldera there and then the gorgeous scenery of the Grand Tetons National Park.

Along the way, we encountered, bison, moose, elk, prong-horn and mule deer in the wild as well as wolves and grizzlies at a fabulous habitat center in West Yellowstone.
