Roaring Gap, NC -- A Boy Scout from Concord fell off the Stone Mountain summit around noon, according to state park officials.
The 16-year-old scout was hiking about 100 yards off the marked trail, Charlie Peek with the park said in a phone interview.
The victim was hiking with other scouts, but it is still unclear if their was a Scout Master with them.
