Thomasville, NC -- Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident involving a car and a tractor-trailer on Highway 64 E near the Randolph County line.
Troopers say a 2007 Nissan passenger car was traveling east toward Asheboro when it crossed over the center line and collided with a tractor-trailer.
Investigators have not released any names, but they say the four victims in the car were a family. The driver was 32 and the passengers were 10, 6, and 4 years old.
All four were taken to Baptist Hospital in critical condition.
The truck driver was not hurt in the accident.
Troopers still don't know why the car crossed over the line.
