La Crosse, Wisconsin (WKBT) -- A TV anchor from had some harsh words for a viewer Tuesday.
Jennifer Livingston of WKBT's News Eight This Morning received an e-mail criticizing her weight.
A viewer thought Livingston wasn't a suitable example for young girls and asked that Livingston reconsider her responsibility as a local public personality to present and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Livingston's husband, who's also a news anchor at the station, posted the e-mail on his Facebook page, sparking wave of e-mail supporting Livingston.
This morning, she went on the air to publicly respond to the viewer, saying the truth is she is overweight, but called the viewer's words cruel.
Livingston says the viewer knows nothing about her, adding she is much more than a number on a scale.
She also pointed out this type of cyber bullying happens to children all the time and urged victims not to let their self worth be defined by bullies.
