(Greensboro, NC) -- On Sunday, 10-07-2012, at 7:42 pm Greensboro Police responded to Interstate 40 Westbound near High Point Rd. in reference to a crash.
The GPD reports that Gonzalo Reyes-Reynoso (Hispanic Male, 28 years old) was walking across Interstate 40 when he made contact with a 2004 Acura TL, being operated by Richard Everhart (White Male, 41 years old).
Mr. Reyes-Reynoso died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Interstate 40 Westbound was shut down for a period of time, but has since been re-opened.
The crash is being investigated by the Crash Reconstruction Unit, and is on going.
