(Burlington, NC) -- On 10-23-2012 at approximately 6:10PM, Burlington police officers responded to 709 Avon Ave. in reference to a shooting.
When police arrived, they found two victims that had been shot on the scene.
One victim Micah White B/M 23-years old, was taken by family to UNC Hospital for treatment. He was treated and released from UNC.
The second victim was identified as Anthony Kevette Jones B/M 22-years-old. Jones was transported from the scene to Alamance Regional Medical Center at which time he was pronounced dead.
UPDATE: On 10/25/12, warrants were issued for Marquis Spence B/M 22 years of age of Buxton Street Durham, and Brandon Malone B/M, 22 years of age also of Buxton Street in Durham.
Each were charged with 1 count of 1st degree murder and count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
The Durham Police Department assisted the Burlington Police Department with finding both suspects who were taken into custody on Buxton Street in Durham without incident.
The bonds on Spence and Malone have not yet been determined.
