Yadkinville, NC-- A man is charged with three felonies and one of them includes stealing a family's dog.
Deputies with the Yadkin County Sheriff's Department said on October 25 they were called to a house on Old Highway 421 in reference to a break-in.
When responding officers arrived, the homeowners reported that their house had been broken into and their dog was stolen.
After their investigation, Thomas Lee Ore of Yadkinville was charged by detectives. Ore is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny of a Dog and and Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense.
As of this morning Deputies tell WFMY News 2 that the dog is still missing.
Ore's bond was set at $2,500.00 when he was booked into the Yadkin County Jail.
