Durham, NC -- The Amber Alert for a missing Durham 2-year-old has been canceled.

Kameron Jakise Hemby went missing at 2:15 p.m. His mother told police she was talking to someone for a few minutes on S. Roxboro St. when Kameron went missing.

Police issued the alert Kameron Jakise Hemby right before 7 p.m. Monday.

The alert was canceled when search volunteers found him inside a nearby apartment building just after 9 p.m. Monday.
