Burlington, NC -- On December 6, 2012, at approximate 9:20PM, the Burlington Police Department answered an attempted robbery call, in the Walmart parking lot, on Garden Rd.
Police found the victim, 28-year-old Barrington Riddick of Greensboro, who told them that while he was changing a flat tire on his car, the suspect attempted to rob him at gunpoint. Riddick says he was able to run away and hide behind another car.
The suspect then left in a newer model American 4-door automobile, possibly a Dodge, and headed towards Garden Rd.
Riddick described the attempted robber as a black male, mid to late 20's, dark complexion, wearing a black zip-up jogging jacket, armed with a dark colored handgun.
A dark-skinned black female was with the suspect at the time of the attempted robbery.
