All lanes on I-85 South near NC-62 at Exit 113 are now open.

A UPS truck overturned Thursday morning and struck a trooper who was responding to another accident. Both the trooper and UPS truck driver were taken to High Point Regional Hospital, according to Trooper Ingram.

All lanes on I-85 were shut down in both directions, but the northbound side reopened around 8:50 am and the south bound lanes re-opened just after 11:00 am.

Detour: Motorists should take the exit ramp to NC-62 (Exit 113) then access I-85 Southbound by continuing straight.
