Greensboro--For the past week, temperatures have been well below normal with Arctic air gripping much of the U.S. Now we have a chance to warm a bit this week.
High pressure will move off the Carolina coast later today. This will set up a moist southeasterly wind that will increase clouds for tonight and Monday. Although there could be a little spotty drizzle or freezing drizzle, no travel problems are expected on Monday morning.
The high pressure system will dip a bit farther south by Tuesday. This will allow winds to shift more to a southwesterly direction. Temperatures will warm to near 58 on Tuesday and into the lower 60's by Wednesday. There will be a chance of rain showers Wednesday afternoon.
Our normal high temperature is 49, and our normal low if 30.
