Greensboro, NC - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is hosting a job fair for veterans and military spouses on Friday in Greensboro, and more than 40 companies will be in attendance.
Ernie Lombardie with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce told News 2 that veterans should bring their resume and dress professionally, and be able to talk specifics about their job duties with the military.
The fair is from 9:00am - 12:00am at the Greensboro- High Point Marriott Airport.
The job fair is a part of the "Hiring Our Heroes" campaign by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a series of job fairs that have lead to the hiring of 14,000 veterans and military spouses.
The event is also part of the Hiring 500,000 Heroes campaign, a national campaign by the U.S. Chamber to engage the business community to hire 500,000 veterans and military spouses by the end of 2014.
