Graham, NC -- "FREEDM", which stands for Future Renewable Electrical Energy Delivery and Management systems center from NC State University held their annual science summer camp from July 25 through July 28 on the campus of Graham High School.
The teens from schools across the district, got the chance to perform science experiments dealing with solar power and how that science can impact the environment around them.
Although Thursday was one of the hottest days, these students didn't mind. The students spent the day building solar robots. And, all that sunshine made for good racing.
After building the robots, students spent the afternoon having a little race competition.
Burlington is the only partner school system in North Carolina for the FREEDM systems center program.
