Trenton, N.J. -- One candidate for state office in New Jersey has a unique career: She hosts sex-toy parties.

Stepfanie Velez-Gentry, a Republican candidate for the State Assembly, is the owner of a company called Nookie Parties. She makes a living organizing parties for women and couples at which she sells sex toys, lotions, games, lingerie and other erotic items.

The 29-year-old likens them to Tupperware parties, but more memorable. It's a job, but she says it's also a great way to meet voters.

Velez-Gentry is vying for one of two open seats against two well-known contenders in the strongly Democratic district. Donald Norcross is the brother of South Jersey power broker George Norcross and Angel Fuentes, who is the Council President in Camden.
