Nashville, TN -- Jett Williams will be the host of a radio show to mark the anniversary of her dad, Hank Williams, passing. She will be at the microphone of the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree on New Year's Day. It was on January 1, 1953 that Hank Williams died. She was born five days later -- but ended up orphaned and a ward of the state of Alabama. Jett Williams didn't find out her true identity until she began a search in the early 1980s. Since she learned she was a kin of Hank Williams, she began touring.
