Madison, NC - The quiet streets of Madison, NC will be changed forever.
"So, of course this is something that hasn't happen to this small town and it's fascinating to see what's going on with the production...because you see the movies but you never see how the movies are being made," said Lisa Biggs, a spectator.
The film, "You Are Here," had more than 100 spectators lined up waiting to capture a picture of a Hollywood star.
On this hot and humid day, most people News 2 spoke to say, it was worth being the sun.
"It's definitely worth it. I choose a bad shirt to wear but it's definitely worth...very cool to see all of this...going on," said Kenny Merritt, a spectator.
The movie has been filiming since May, and the crew has been spotted in Winston-Salem and Charlotte.
"They said they have been in other small towns around this area but to be in Madison...it just makes us so happy," said Laurie Fulcher, a local florist.
"You Are Here," is a comedy centered on two childhood best friends who embark on a road trip back to their hometown; after one of them learns he has inherited a large sum of money from his recently deceased, estranged father.
The movie is expected to be released in 2013.
