Hollywood, CA -- The man behind the successful "Dark Knight" Batman films was honored at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Director, writer, producer Christopher Nolan was given the honor of placing his hands and feet in cement at the famous landmark.
Nolan was surrounded by stars Christian Bale, Ann Hathaway, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Morgan Freeman.
Michael Caine called Nolan one of the "best" he's ever worked with.
The conclusion to the Dark Knight Trilogy comes out in less than two weeks.
The first two films in the Dark Knight Trilogy already earned a billion dollars worldwide.
