Hollywood, CA -- Fans are paying tribute to film icon Marilyn Monroe on the 50th anniversary of her death.
Monroe's death in 1962 is still debated by her fans. She was found naked and face down on her bed inside her Brentwood home. She was only 36-years old. Her death was ruled a probable suicide, but many believe differently.
The LA District Attorney reviewed the case in 1982, but concluded there was no evidence of criminal activity.
The Hollywood Historic Trust placed flower's on Monroe's star on the Walk of Fame Sunday. Fans have been stopping by to take pictures and remember the famous actress.
The star is near the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum which has a collection of Monroe memorabilia on display. Also there's a Marilyn exhibit at the Hollywood Museum until September.
