Luzerne County, PA-- A Pennsylvania family spent a week with an unwelcome guest they had no idea was living in their home.
A man was living in the attic of the home. He ate their food and even dressed in their clothes. Police say 21-year-old Stanly Carter was staying with a friend next door but somehow ended up in the family's attic.
The family didn't know he was there until Christmas Morning, when they left the house, came back, and noticed things were missing. They called police three times but officers did not find anyone in the home.
Carter made a makeshift living space using blankets, candles, and a computer.
Carter faces six felony charges of burglary and criminal trespass.
