Volunteers Needed For A Free Dental Clinic

Greensboro, NC --- Volunteers are needed to help free dental clinic at First Presbyterian Church November 6 and 7.

FPC's Mullin Life Center will be the site of the North Carolina Missions of Mercy free dental clinic on Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Between 40 and 60 dentists plus staff will provide cleaning, X-rays, fillings and extractions for an expected crowd of 500 to 700 people.

Dental services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and income must be at 200 percent or below of poverty level:

*$21,660 - If you are single

*$29,140 - If you are married

*$44,100 - For a family of four.

Volunteers are needed for six-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to noon or noon to 6 p.m. each day. Volunteers will provide information, attend the parking lot, greet and escort clients and provide other needed support services. Training for volunteers will be held on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 1:00pm or 5:00pm.
