Greensboro, NC -- When you make family time a priority you'll notice positive changes in your life away from home too. Larry Lam is a clinical supervisor with Youth Villages in Greensboro. He suggests working as a family to come up with new rituals like game night or make-your-own pizza night.
Lam says making the commitment to eat as a family every night can make a big difference. He suggests turning off all your gadgets every night and talking about your day. He says you might want to try going around the table and sharing something funny that happened to you that day or something positive about another person at the table.
Lam says you should also set aside a few hours each month for one on one time with your children.
