Amber Haroldson, Registered Dietitian and PH-D student with UNCG has a few tips for better success with weight loss.

Use smaller plates to save about 20% of calories.

Smaller bowls and utensils can save 30% of calories.

Use narrow glasses instead of wide ones.

Eat under brighter lights. It decreses time spent eating.

This may not sound like a lot, but just reducing 100 calories each day could lead to a 10 pound weight loss over a year.
