Greensboro, NC -- You can show a senior who stands out in our community that you care.
Home Instead Senior Care is looking for outstanding senior volunteers for the Salute to Senior Service program.
It honors senior volunteers who make tireless contributions to their communities.
Nominees must be age 65 and older and volunteer for at least 15 hours a month. Home Instead Senior Care will honor volunteers at the state level and then pick a national winner.
State Senior Hero winners will receive plaques and have their stories shared on Salutetoseniorservice.com, the national winner will get $5,000 donated to a charity of their choice.
Nominations will be accepted until March 15, 2012. You'll need to submit your nomination by going to www.salutetoseniorservice.com.
