Greensboro, NC -- Carolina Cancer Services is a non-profit organization that helps cancer patients in all kinds of ways.
They help pay for medication and transportation, along with other services, for patients who qualify.
The group is the only non-profit that provides that kind of assistance to people in Davidson County.
You can help support them in the 10th annual Walk, Run, Ride for Life event Saturday, April 14. It's at Finch Park on Paul Beck Road in Lexington. Registration starts at 7:30am.
It's $30 to bike or run, and that includes lunch, door prizes, and entertainment. It's free if you want to walk.
