Greensboro, NC - Voters started lining up as soon as polls opened Tuesday morning, and several competitive races will drive a steady stream of voters all day to the polls, according to the Guilford County Board of Elections.

One of the most talked about issues on the ballot is Amendment One, the Amendment that would amend the constitution to define marriage in North Carolina as being between one man and one woman.

Also on the ballot are primaries for President, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and many other statewide offices.

The Guilford County Board of Elections told News 2 that without a competitive Presidential Primary, turnout would generally be expected to be light during a primary.

But Amendment One has drawn such high interest, the Board of Election's expects turnout to be relatively high.
