Greensboro, NC - Over 150 middle and high school students are in High Point this week making much needed repairs to 11 homes, and most surprising of all, they are paying to do it.

The group is part of World Changers, a Christian-based organization that teaches teenagers and young adults about service and mission work.

The students payed about $250 to be a part of the project in High Point, and they are a part of over 19,000 students doing similar work all across the country this summer.

Josh Owenby works with the organization and said the students learn, "how to demonstrate their faith through action, not just through their words."

The students have spent the week at 11 projects around the High Point area making repairs such as roofing work, siding, painting and window repair, porches, and handicap ramps.

The projects last one week, and the students spend all day, from 7 am to 4 pm.
