Savory Strudel Roll Recipe
1 box frozen spinach, defrosted and wrung dry
1 half pound feta cheese crumbled fine
1 pound boiled white potatoes chopped fine
1 half pound grated pecorino or parmesan cheese
4 T dried dill
4T dried mint
1 package defrosted phillo dough
Put the filling in the food processor half cup at a time and process fine.
Have phillo, olive oli and bread crumbs and filling close to you.
Lay out 1 sheet phillo. Brush with olive oli and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Do this with 3 sheets of phillo.
Put some filling on the top of the 3d sheet and fold in ends and then roll up.
Brush with olive oil. Dip in bread crumbs. Lay on the cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until brown.
