WFMY -- The WFMY News 2 crew said goodbye to Good Morning Show anchor, Meghan Packer, Friday. Meghan is leaving News 2 and plans to move to the northeast to be closer to her family after spending several years away.
Monday, Lauren Melvin picks up where Meghan left off at 4:30 and every day with us on the Good Morning Show.
Meghan started at WFMY News 2 in 2009. First, she was a reporter for the 11 pm newscast and a fill-in anchor. In January 2012, she made the transition from "night owl" to "early bird" when the Good Morning Show began airing weekdays at 4:30 am.
Meghan graduated from Elon University.
