Is it safe for a woman to drink while she is pregnant?
A new study from Denmark says that drinking in moderation is safe, early to mid pregnancy.
Researchers asked 1,600 Danish women to talk about their drinking habits between 2003 and 2008. The average age was 31, half were first time moms, and 12% said they were single.
Researchers studied children in this study from birth up to five years-old, checking IQ, motivation, and focus and found no negative impacts.
Researchers say it is safe to have as much as 8 glasses of wine per week.
Keep in mind alcoholic drinks in Denmark are 14% smaller than what is consumed in the US.
