Greensboro - The Good Morning Show talks to the American Heart Association about their new National Hip Hop Video Contest. It is encouraging a dialogue with our youth about the dangers of stroke and how to develop healthy habits at an early age.
A nine city tour is kicking off in Greensboro on Tuesday at the Greensboro Boys and Girls Club Central Unit. Songwriter, Mattie Bethea, who is also a Winston-Salem native created a rap called "The Stroke Song" and will work with the organizations to inspire children to perform it.
If your child wants to participate they could win an all-expenses-paid trip to Atlanta. You can post your completed video and enter the contest by September 21 at www.strokeassociation.org/hiphopcontest
