Greensboro, NC -- A one-day class at UNC Greensboro could help put you on the fast track to getting a job. You will learn how to prepare your resume, handle panel interviews and showcase your successes and achievements. Larkin says an employer will decide whether to reject your resume in only 7-20 seconds, so it needs to stand out. Life coach Vicky Larkin teaches the class and says preparation is key to getting hired. Larkin says you need to practice turning sad news, such as getting laid off, into goals for how you're going to move forward. She says the class will be small, so students can practice with one another.
The course runs Saturday March 21st from 9:00am to 3:00pm at UNCG.
It costs $75 dollars and you must register by March 16th.
