
Greensboro, NC -- Police arrested a man after he tried to cash lottery tickets stolen just hours earlier.
Police say a man entered the G&S Mini Mart on Lawndale driver just before 7 pm on Thursday and pushed the store clerk to the floor. The suspect then removed a North Carolina Lottery Scratch-Off dispenser before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Officers then responded to a call at the Wilco-Hess on Battleground around 10:30 pm after a reported of someone trying to cash stolen scratch-off tickets.
Justin Conley, 20, was arrested and charged with common law robbery and obtaining property by false pretense. He was placed in the Guilford County Jail under a $7,500 bond.
