Greensboro, NC -- Disaster teams are still tallying the cost of Wednesday night's flash flooding in Greensboro.

Greensboro's interim city manager says so far there isn't enough damage to ask for federal or state assistance.

The storm affected some areas of the city more than others.

The rain caused major flooding at Wafco Mills.

In another place in Greensboro lightning caused the problems.

The damage homeowners suffered in both places was so bad that the victims have to find temporary living arrangements.

"It was just pretty devastating I mean you're sitting in your living room one minute everything's normal and then the next minute your house is like a fish tank, and it's starting to rain again," flood victim Matt Dennis told us.

City crews condemned five condos in all at Wafco mills.

American Red Cross Disaster Teams went around seeing how they could help the flood victims.
